We also purchased a chest that he beautifully refurbished and polished for us. We decided to custom-make a couple of chairs, and he delivered exactly as per our instructions and expectations. We engaged Curio City team in 2021 and had a great experience working with Mr Ramchandran. His collection of old style furniture and antiquities is really great. And he has a passion for finding such treasures through his networks from across the country. He is also well versed with different types of wood and materials and his team built out beds from old team wood slats and restored an old crockery unit from his store to its century old glory making it the conversation piece in our home whenever anyone comes over. He has ornate style and simple style of furniture and antiquity, matching a wide berth of design preferences at his shop. Sure, it can be a bit chaotic there but in my opinion it gives it that treasure hunt type of feel when you browse through his store trying to find that perfect piece of furniture, crockery or antiquity!
